Please check the Approved User Software List before submitting a non-standard software request. If the software has already been approved please use Standard Software Request instead.
This request should be used to request any non-standard software to be installed on your machine, including any software needing Proof of Concept. Make sure that you fill out the form included in this ticket so that your request will be properly handled. Proof of Concept requests will have to be approved by security prior to purchase, download, and installation. If you are submitting a POC request - this ticket will have 30 days from the time the software installed to test it out, at the end of 30 days you will be requested to make a decision to keep this software or not.
If the software is something that we want to keep, then it will be subjected to the approval process for adding to the SURS approved software - this process must go through several steps for this to be accomplished. The process may take up to 1-2 months to complete depending on the complexity of the software and the data it will be accessing. --- this is the same process that will be completed for any new non-standard software.
