SURS requires passwords to be reset every 60 days. If your account becomes disabled/locked, submit a ticket to the helpdesk to have it reset. Email reminders go out to staff prior to password expiration. Please change your password prior to it expiring.
Changing Your Password
Network (Windows 10)
To change your password on Windows 10 (your network password):
- Press ctrl+alt+del and select "Change password"
iSeries (CSG) password
To change your password on iSeries (CSG):
From the USER MENU (USERMNU) option 9: Change 5250 Password will allow you to change your CSG password as long as your CSG account is not disabled. If you CSG account is disabled you will need to place a help desk ticket to get the account re-enabled.
NOTE: iSeries (CSG) - If your account becomes disabled/locked and you request your account to be unlocked, you must sign on successfully before midnight or your account will re-lock. This for security purposes.
